By accessing or using our website, donations platform, event pages, or any related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms apply from the Effective Date and continue until updated. We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Updates take effect upon posting unless stated otherwise.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to access and use the Services for personal, non‑commercial use. You must not:

• Modify or copy materials without permission
• Use materials for commercial or public display without our consent
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access the source code of any software
• Remove proprietary notices or mirror materials on other servers

We may suspend or terminate this licence if you breach these Terms.

To use certain features, you may need an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping login credentials confidential and secure
• All activity under your account
• Promptly notifying us of unauthorised use
• Ensuring your details are accurate and up to date

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion for misuse or breach.

Your privacy matters to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose personal information (including data collected via contact forms and sign‑ups).

All content on the Services (including text, graphics, logos, images, and software) is owned by Dads Speak Incorporated or our licensors and protected by Australian and international IP laws.

You may make a reasonable number of copies for personal, non‑commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written consent.

You must not use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe IP, privacy, or other rights
• Send spam, scams, or malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm others, or incite such behaviour
• Attempt to bypass security or interfere with the Services’ operation

Donations and payments are processed by Stripe. By donating or purchasing, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers.

Unless stated otherwise, pure donations (gifts with no material benefit to you) are not subject to GST. If goods or services are provided in return (e.g., tickets, merchandise), standard GST rules may apply.

Receipts will be issued electronically. If we are endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), we will indicate tax‑deductibility on receipts for eligible gifts (generally $2 or more).

If you believe a payment was made in error, please contact us at info@dadsspeak.org.au.

Event registrations or tickets may be offered through the Services. Event details (dates, venues, inclusions) are as described at purchase. We may reschedule, relocate, or cancel events where necessary (e.g., safety, venue issues, low enrolments).

Refunds are handled per the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and any event‑specific policy stated at checkout. If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we will offer a refund of the ticket price paid (excluding third‑party fees where non‑refundable).

If you submit content (e.g., comments, posts, testimonials), you grant Dads Speak Incorporated a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Services and our mission. You represent that you have rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third‑party rights.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dads Speak Incorporated and our officers, employees, and volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dads Speak Incorporated from any claims, losses, or liabilities arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
